The shops in Rena city center invites you to warm experiences. An intimate shopping street with several specialty shops, a good selection of grocery stores and with some unique restaurants. Here you are given plenty of time and pleasant personal service within short distances and capricious surroundings.
Feel free to take the time for a walk. Åmot church from 1902 is located a stone's throw from the main street and is one of our foremost tourist attractions. The church is made of timber and designed by architect Henrik Bull.
Close by you will also find Prestsjøen, which invites to swimming for young and old. Åmot municipality's tourist office is located in Åmot cultural centre, just south of the main street.
If you arrive by train on the Røros Line, get off at Rena station. If you come with an electric car, you have many charging options nearby the main shopping street.
